Natural History Photographs

Valle d'Aosta, Italy
Ville sur Sarre
7 August 2018

On the final day of our stay in Ville sur Sarre, I explored one more time the mountain slopes around the village. During the two weeks of our stay the season had noticably progressed, with several plants no longer being in flower. But there were still many butterflies, and on this final day I gave these due attention. Walking in mostly wooded area gave me hardly views on the landscape, which explains their absence on this page. The photos shown here were all taken somewhere halfway my route of this day.
